La Guinée a connu une ascension fulgurante au classement FIFA remontant de 24 places. Un record pour le mois de juillet qui a vu plus de 7 équipes remonter à plus de 20 places. Et, parmi ces pays, seul le Sénégal a fait mieux que la Guinée en évoluant de 25 places.
La Guinée quitte donc la 85e place pour la 61emondiale et se classe à la 11e place africaine notamment devant l’Egypte, le Cameroun ou encore le Sénégal.
