Après une première édition qualifiée de « réussie » tenue en 2012, la structure ASPIRE Football Dreams a donné samedi le coup d’envoi de la deuxième édition de son projet qui vise à détecter des jeunes footballeurs.
Au cours d’une conférence de presse le Directeur général de ASPIRE Football Dreams Guinée, Fodé Capi Camara est revenu sur les travaux réalisés par son équipe. Il ne cache pas sa satisfaction : « L’année dernière en un laps de temps, nous avons pu réussir une activité pour laquelle d’autres pays ont pris beaucoup plus de temps.» se réjouit-il.
Si lors de la première édition les techniciens guinéens ont bénéficié de l’assistance des sénégalais, pour cette deuxième, les guinéens seront les seuls à s’y mettre.
La deuxième édition débute à partir 19 octobre en Guinée. Pour le président d’ ASPIRE Football Dreams en Afrique, l’objectif de cette autre édition est de pouvoir pérenniser la coopération avec la Guinée. « C’est la deuxième édition, mais la deuxième d’une longue suite d’édition aussi longtemps que se serait possible, qu’on soit présent en Guinée et qu’on apporte encore une fois notre modeste contribution au développement du football guinéen » a déclaré Mohamed Lamine Savané.
Le représentant du ministère de sports à cette conférence de presse, Kabassan Keita a dans son intervention, mis l’accent sur les critères de choix des jeunes. Pour le directeur technique national adjoint des sports, le choix des futurs talents doit être basé sur la valeur intrinsèque de chacun : « la première édition a été un succès je sais compter sur vous pour que cette deuxième édition, qu’il n’y ait pas de tricherie pour que les techniciens espagnols qui seront là à la fin du projet, sélectionnent pour l’année 2014 au moins trois guinéens »
ASPIRE Football Dreams est un projet humanitaire qui vise à détecter des jeunes talents à travers 15 pays repartis sur 3 continents (Afrique, Asie et Amérique). Lors de la première édition organisée en Guinée, trois jeunes ont été retenus par les techniciens espagnols. Les trois guinéens ont participé à la finale disputée en novembre 2012 à Doha au Quatar où deux ont pu se tirer d’affaire. Ils sont actuellement à l’académie Aspire de Dakar (Sénégal) où ils poursuivent leur formation à fin de pouvoir réaliser un jour leur rêve : « devenir footballeur professionnel ».
